This tbh. Over-reaction meant OP was never likely to come back, even if it did go well, and even more unlikely if it went badly.

Maybe its time to close the thread, since the OP hasnt been around for approaching a month.

I am very sure that if this turns out to be true, then the OP will most definitely receive comments such as 'well played', 'good catch' etc. Maybe even the odd apology will be thrown in.

But people are skeptical, and the replies in this thread reflect that. And they are justified in their skepticism, after all he's tried to import a wife from what is basically a pron site.

I hope that we're all proved to be fools and this is genuine, but surely you can see why the response from the community has been like this?
 
Its not often I agree with Lysander and this thread is not going to change that.

The OP was rightly mocked for what he's done - he claimed he had found love on a webcam site and was paying nothing, then he was paying a wee bit, then he was paying a fair chunk (£270) and she was going to be living with him bed and board free.

Come on mate, even Anne Frank could see that he was onto a hiding to nothing by posting this thread.
 
wait until she emails him saying that one of her family members is ill and she cannot afford the hospital treatment that is going to cost £1000 or so, and she wants to come to england but has to nurse her sick family member. then he sends the £1000 to her for her family member to get well, but he never hears from her again and is a grand down.

classic if you ask me, surely to end in disaster.

come on dude we can all see its setup for failure!

This thread is really starting to annoying me now. I don't want to see this popping up on GD anymore - it's filled with nothing but BS.

There is no story, who knows what the OP's deal was but either way, it's died a death now.... and is just an annoyance!
