I pick things up and put them down :)

These rushed training sessions are really starting to get annoying!!
Next week should be better :)

.... >.< NEXT WEEK BETTER BE BETTER!!!

Tomorrow morning there's an unofficial deadlift meet at a gym run by a mate of mine, should be fun :)

Haven't pulled anything over 180 since the injury so tomorrow we'll try hammer that :)

Apparantly the N.I record holder is going, he pulled 340kgs recently, sick.

Great day yesterday :)

The deadlift meet was a huge success, some big lifters in there 275kg was the biggest lift of the day!

I pull 170 190 210 220, I just kept it going up steadily to see how my back was and it's definitely recovered :D

The 220 went up easy and I'm very pleased with my form :D

Strong deadlift there reiyushin. Looks like your ramping thins up again.

What injuries did you pik up near the end of the year as I thought you were smashing out PB's left right and centre from nov onwards :)

I was! Then it all went downhill, I tweaked my back in a deadlift, it's an old injury from falling out of a tree when I was 15ish.

Feeling good now :)

*3 months later*

ummm.....I did warn you that I'm awful for updates :p

It's been a busy 3 months with work, homework, trying to get a house etc.

Training has been nice and consistent but I've not had a comp yet -_-

There's a 3 lift one in June which I'm booked in for :) and for some strange reason the raw squat record over here is 192.5 so I kinda want to break that...

Anyways back to training:

Currently running Sheiko B37 and enjoying it. The sessions can go quite long but that's fine with me and it's made my squat feel invincible. I've not broken any PBs (got a 240 dead but that was ages ago) but I feel good for a squat and deadlift PB.

My bench is a whole other story, I've had nothing but hell from my bicep tendons and it's really made progression a nightmare....

Recently (since last week) I've been trying some supermax holds and some direct bicep work and it seems to be helping but it's too early to tell.
My CGBP is 125 and my normal bench is 130 (120 with a pause of any worth) if it's still bugging me by comp time then I'll probably do the comp with a close grip but it's over 2 months away so I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

Hope everyone is well, I'll go have a lurk through your training logs to see what you've been up to ;)
