That looks pretty brutal.
Although, looking at how professional weightlifters train (two sessions a day - morning and evening - at a minimum) with the emphasis quite literally on lift-eat-lift-eat-sleep-*, this sort of progression could be envisaged if the lifter can dedicate the requisite time and recovery to it.
The Bulgarian Weightlifting method, for instance, involves something along the lines of 45 minutes of snatch, clean, clean'n'jerk, front squat with 15 minutes rest between.
All day. Almost every day.
Yes, steroids would have been involved, but I don't think that equates to a magic bullet. Genetic predisposition and work ethic has a huge amount to play in here, too.
As I said, however, this is for professional athletes - not joe average (and for weightlifters, not whatever else)...
I personally would love to do it for a few months to see how it goes, but life gets in the way. as it's too good to miss
