@dirtydog i know but comon these threads are getting abit of a joke don't you think. If you don't want to buy any drugs off the chap then don't lol.

So other people committing serious crime is okay so long as you're not directly affected.

you've got to face it mate, drugs are a part of life, and until they're legal, people are going to have to deal them from their homes, because there IS a call for them! if you dont want to do drugs, don't...but why should you begrudge other people their pleasures? it's none of your business, it really isnt. if the OP grasses this dude for dealing from his house, does that get rid of the "problem"? no. i dont even see why this is in question. live and let live.

what about if they're not hurting ANYONE?

They are drug dealers so they will be hurting people :)
Drug dealers don't make people take drugs, they just sell them. The same way your corner shop sells cigarettes and alcohol.

pun intended

where is your evidence to support this? the only risk that people take when taking drugs is their reaction to that drug. that risk is their decision and theirs alone. i honestly dont understand what the problem is here.

Drug dealers are serious criminals. People commit serious crimes in order to buy their drugs - much violence and theft is directly related to drugs. Drug dealers do also push their products onto people like children.

that's as maybe for some people. maybe im just biased because the guys i know are awesome guys. possibly the most friendly people ever. but if drugs weren't illegal, there wouldn't be drug-related violence, they could bring it all above board. drugs are no worse than alcohol. anyway, this is a very OT debate. and ftr, i dont condone pushing drugs on kids.

Yes there is a compelling case to be made for legalising drugs, but at the moment they are illegal and at the moment drug dealing therefore can't be condoned by law-abiding people. Apart from anything else they're evading paying income taxes.

surely that's obvious. but show me one person who's 100% law abiding. we all break the law in our own ways, and you dont see this dude's friendly neighbourhood drug dealer running to the fuzz when he sees him dropping litter (think of the animals) or speeding (think of the dead children). bottom line is i bet there isnt a single person that can be labelled as "law-abiding". anyone who's driven a car at any point in their life has broken the law. that takes away any "law-abiding" citizen's right to preach the law.

I don't class most speeding as a serious crime, because speeding per se is not dangerous and doesn't have a victim. Drug dealing always has a victim even if it's just tax evasion - a crime which indirectly hurts all of us FWIW.

We all know drug dealers peddle their wares in nurseries, beat up old ladies for their pension money and carry weapons of mass destruction to escalate drug wars.
