People are hearing talk of gangs, they're taking their #livedexperience of what they've seen in their own country and are presuming (not necessarily assuming) that this is similar. Shouldn't be surprising to anyone.

It may be immigration, however the ill-informed focus on the immigrants themselves, as opposed to the daft decision to allow such an influx without sufficient preparation of infrastructure, or work and cultural integration.

Of course, similarly to if my house is flooding because of poor plumbing workmanship, the cause is the poor work, not the water everywhere. I think it's kind of weird to say that I'd be "I'll informed" if I was concerned about the water everywhere. I don't think anyone moaning about immigrants doesn't also understand that there's a lack of infrastructure or cultural integration.

My parents came in the 70s, and worked their fingers to the bone. Your story isn’t unique, it’s pretty much universal for most immigrants who have come to this country. Had very little and built a life through hard work and hardship.
