i5 processors OcUK Stock Available ?

Also the new p55 socket 1156 motherboards are up for sale now in Germany.

eg

ASRock P55M PRO (µATX, G-LAN, FW, SATAII RAID, eSATA) € 94,90

Asus P7P55D LE € 119,90

MSI P55-CD53 (Sound, G-LAN, SATAII RAID) € 114,90

These boards are considerably cheaper than the i7 counterparts.

So IMO an i7 920 build is looking a tad expensive. Of course I have no idea of the i5 overclocking potential on one of the cheap boards???

I dont see why not, they dont do international orders so they are not classed as a competitor, I've seen that list too - newegg teasing people with prices they new the list would get out before they deactivated it, crafty. ;)

I hadn't seen the prices of the boards quoted above until now, only heard of the GD65 which is retail £139.99, and GD80 which is retail £189, so there wasn't much of a difference in price from socket 1366 boards in my eyes.
 
As ever we will have LOTS of stock on release day with systems and bundles available.

The places listing them as in stock are not part of the program that gets the stores allocation on launch, they are just listing them to try to grab a couple of sales. :)

Just hold off guys as you will be able to walk into the store on the minute of launch and pick a full setup from us, or we can ship on next day delivery which is free to forum members as always.
 
Used every board on the market and will publish results as soon as I can giving people an idea of comparable stock / overclocked and max clock performance.

Some boards run better clocked, OcUK will steer people in the right direction on the launch stock. :)
 
Thanks for the info, although I'm a bit disapointed now, I have the next week off work, and was going to pounce on one of the new Msi boards. Looks like I may have to wait and see some benchies first :(

Consistency of the overclock is essiantial when for example we make dozens of 920 4.00GHz bundles each day. :)

If half the boards wont do the overclock then it is not an option for us to use in integration.
 
Hmm thats a shame regarding the msi boards i was seriously thinking of getting one through their discount scheme (or trying at least).

Any hints ;) on which ones overclock the best??

Will you have the MSI boards with the 55% discount on sale but not in bundles? I was really looking forward to getting one even if it doesn't clock as well as the rest.
