iCue 7000x Build

even for a phone its a quality photo
it wouldnt occur to me to do it from an angle
would have done it from directly above
because i suck at photography :)
so cant wait to see dslr shots of the build
am still in awe of those jumping spider shots mate
so can imagine how good your build shots will be

You look at that leakshield?
Not cheap though
But great idea especially love where they fill the loop
From rear io slot and it purges all the bubbles out
And sucks the coolant in
Been a couple YouTube videos where they deliberately try to cause a leak
To see how far they can get away with

Ocuk are definitely getting it
I asked customer service but no arrival date
But there's a leakshield thread where someone said
A competitor had them
But they didn't say who even though not sure it's breaking
Rules to mention other companies if it's something ocuk doesn't sell
But guess they were being cautious just in case

ah yeah musnt forget rgb
it definitely adds at least 15fps :cry:
think i saw somewhere the other day that pc building simulator
softwares free at the moment
apparently its not just a game people use it to plan out
their builds and loops etc
its meant to have the correct pc cases and parts etc
might be something worth a look

I have rgb fans already I just need the splitters to help cut down on how many headers I need it use even though the case and motherboard come with load of options for controlling them. when Ian and I come to build it we can decide what’s the best option for fan/rgb control.

yeah i have a 10x 5vrgb splitter
my motherboard does have 2 x 5vrgb headers
but with absolutely everything having addressable rgb
nowadays you need more headers
the splitter was cheap anyways and better to have more
headers than you might end up using

It's good to plan but i still think it's in it's infancy.. can't plan custom loops :P

it's fun.. but repetitive.. then again being an IT technician.. tasks are usually repetitive anyways.

Perhaps the guy from the Verge used this to learn how to correctly build a pc *badum chu!*

Went in the loft and just found a brand new ek dc 5 pump w plexi top, a brand new x res 250 and I think an x res 100 none of which has rgb.
These were for my now dead 900d as was planning on running dual loops. Might as well use the new pump in the new build and sell
the second hand one.

lol i thought i was bad
got a room full of pc stuff
and a couple of cupboards too
though usually i just cant find what i want
i dont usually buy pumps and reservoirs and forget :)
another 889 posts and you can sell them
in members market
