Id dead bird

OK let me rephrase, it's the same type of bird, not in the same condition. this seems physically fine, it accepted food and is moving a fair bit. I can't find its nest but did find other mutilated ones near it!

It even started chirping a little after being fed! I've fed it until it stopped accepting food which is the only advice i could find online, will phone the RSPB tomorrow and see what they suggest!

Also, recently watching Springwatch it seems birds feed many times an hour, hope you're up to the job, lol.

from advice on another forum, they get their water from their food, and the food we're feeding it is chicken in gravy dog food so its fairly juice!

It looks a lot better, it's sitting properly now and has even opened its eyes now!

You're nuts if you want to try to raise it as a it's not even a fledgeling yet and will stand absolutely zero chance of survival without its mother. You could always try putting it outside tomo in a makeshift nest, just on the off chance that the mother returns to it and keeps feeding.

I was semi-serious when I said to raise it yourself as a pet earlier, but then read this -

Fancy a 20 year commitment?:p
