OK let me rephrase, it's the same type of bird, not in the same condition. this seems physically fine, it accepted food and is moving a fair bit. I can't find its nest but did find other mutilated ones near it!
It even started chirping a little after being fed! I've fed it until it stopped accepting food which is the only advice i could find online, will phone the RSPB tomorrow and see what they suggest!
You're nuts if you want to try to raise it as a it's not even a fledgeling yet and will stand absolutely zero chance of survival without its mother. You could always try putting it outside tomo in a makeshift nest, just on the off chance that the mother returns to it and keeps feeding.
