I'll tell you why, because that is how they Highway code tells us we should drive on the road. Would you question someone who exercised their right of way on a roundabout? No. So shut up and learn how to drive before you criticise others.
Thanks
I was not wrong, if the person in the left lane maintained their speed (in fact, it wouldn't be unreasonable to expect them to begin slowing coming from dual to single carriageway) then I would have finished the manoeuvre safely and at the speed limit.
I honestly don't understand what you're trying to get at here, are you looking to boost your forud "cred" or simply trolling? Either way, you look like an idiot. How you can say someone already half-way in front of someone performing a perfectly safe overtake is doing something wrong when the person on the inside decides to speed up, is frankly beyond me.
I usually do not involve myself in these Hindsight Appreciation threads, but are you one of the regulars who will try and make themselves sound clever by pointing out where the OP was wrong, whether he was, it was justified or he already knew it already?
Even so, it's easy to sit here and analyse it on an internet forum, on the road we do not have the luxury of having a good think, discussing the pros and cons for each action accordingly. You are forced to make a split second decision, and I stand by mine
Again, Thanks
