IEMs (In-Ear Monitors)

Nice. I recommend adding on the 3 year gadget insurance through amazon. I did it with my Dusks for peace of mind.

What other IEMs do you have...

Just Shozy x Neo CP, which I've used near enough daily for 5 years, but past week or so something has gone wrong with them and they've been sounded terrible, tried a couple of different cables and still the same. Oh well good excuse to upgrade.

These arrived though and they are superb. What I'm most surprised by is the fit and comfort considering how large they are and the nozzle size. Just using some of the medium tips they come with I had them in for about 2 hours yesterday evening first time of wearing and absolutely no issues.

I got some Moondrop CHU IIs recently and it's been astonishing how much sound I've been missing out on. Going back to wired does add a little bit of faff compared to my AirPod Pros but it's been mostly worth it, even with "standard" 256Kbps Apple Music and 320Kbps Spotify. The bass alone just being there has been spectacular. Already wondering where I can go from the Moondrops to get even more sound :D

i sent back the supermix 4 - the treble was great but no matter what i did the bass was very poor. The whole sound was very 'thin' and hollow.

I think i'll look at better some that are known to be a bit more bassy, as i still want some for when i can't be bothered using full size headphones.

What's your budget mate. I have the Dusks and they just sound exquisite. They're detailed but not clinical. Lovely timber and a nice sharp leading edge to instruments and vocals. And bass is perfect out the box for realistic depth and slam, and when you crank the EQ for bass it delivers plenty more without breaking a sweat.

This guy sums up my thoughts...

ok, just got some Qkz X Hbb Khan cheap off ebay - much better.
Just goes to show it can really depend on your ears as they are a quarter of the price of the supermix 4's.

I've got some truthear zero that I really like the sound from but the nozzle is so thick and not great for comfort.

Considering some foam tips as I generally prefer the isolation I get, anybody have any recommendations

Anyone using these with electronic drums? Got my son a kit for Christmas, and he's going to need something to listen on (his cheapo gaming headset probably isn't going to cut it!).

Thinking £30-40ish, don't want anything too expensive as he's 13, so there's a high probability of them getting lost or broken sooner rather than later!

A longish cable would be handy so he can plug it into the kit easily, although could get an extension of course.

Have seen lots of recommendations for KZ ZS10 on drumming forums, but those look like quite an old model now, so is there there something newer/better to go for?
