Yes, and key will need to be activated on steam.

Yes mate, bought my copy yesterday and I had my key instantly. You can activate it via Steam (which I did) or use their downloader. I found their downloader gave me better speeds than Steam though.
What's the multiplayer community for this like?

It's a flight sim so small, there are usually at least a couple of severs worth joining though.

ATAG server is probably the best one for multiplayer at the moment, you can see 40+ people on a good night.
As Dano said, the game has issues (what doesn't!), but they are working on patches.

waiting on getgames to get back to me, sent me invalid keys :/, not seen it anywhere else so i guess i just got a random headache to deal with

They did that to a few people when it was released, they were pretty quick to sort them out if I recall correctly.

I bit the bullet and bought it off them a couple of hours ago. key thought straight away and worked on steam. Downloading now.

Well for the money I went ahead and got it

But I have one problem and that is my plane on realistic settings keeps moving the right so making takeoffs end in me crashing and burning alive lol

missed a email from thing, aprently my payment by card was rejected, so the keys where invalidated automaticly
bought again, and from dust works

it is torque from the prop spinning , reduce your throttle and prop pitch a bit
or gradually increase speed slowly

And don't forget to use the rudder to compensate on takeoff, it's a strong effect, for example the Hurricane take off prceedure states you want full right rudder trim at takeoff.

This has been uninstalled from my PC for a while now. When they release the updated engine I'll get back into it but for now I can't stand the micro stutters. Been playing Wings of Prey instead - lovely game that one if a little overly simplistic. (My sig isn't quite right, I'm running dual 5850s Xfire now and it still struggles.)

Dano, why can't I join the ATAG server?

Everytime I try it gets to about 95% loaded then just hangs forever. Is there something additional I need to download, an addon or something?

Try Rise of Flight. Its WW1 so the pace is a lot slower but very realistic. Free to play!

Yeah I played that for a little bit and did enjoy it but I find WOP to be nicer to just randomly buzz around in.
