your welcome, now about 10% contract you agreed to when using the advice in this thread.........

How long does it usually take for the bookie to credit you with the free bet? I notice William Hill say in their t&c's that it will appear 12 hours after the qualifying bet, which is really slow and makes it less worthwhile

A lot are instant, any that arent I always send a naive email like "even though I lost will i still receive a free bet as I wished to bet on the football tonight"

They normally reply pretty quickly.

should be getting £70 from quidco too after my tickets got updated - be a nice bonus

wouldnt get your hopes up about Quidco, they do pay you but it takes ages. Definitely worth doin cos its the exact same thing as not doin it except you'll get some more money bit down the line. I only just got some money from them from like July or somethin

so all u will win is the free bet that the bettin company gives you? i think i understand it only read it once but basically lay a bet on betfair then place a bet from say ladbrokes with your own money then the free bet they give you put that on as well? so u dont lose any of your money but take the free money they give you?

William Hill is starting to annoy me, placed the qualifying bet which I won at the bookies, tried withdrawing the winnings into my account. But it says they delay withdrawals for up to 3 days to prevent fraud, yeah right more like you want to earn as much interest from my money as possible

Out of interest, when signing up to all these bookies, you don't start getting loads of junk mail from them do you?

they send you occasional letters and things but it normally says on the envelope who its from and if you'redone with that particular bookie, it can just go straight in *** bin.

I'm trying to decide whether this is really worth it or not. It just seems to take too long to get the money back. For example this last one I did with william hill

. Picked qualifier on wednesday
. Free bet wasn't made available until midday the next day
. I wasn't able to withdraw any of the funds from WH until today

Result being I probably won't actually HAVE the money until midweek. So if it takes a whole week to get £30 I can't see it being worth it.

Think I may look into this when I get my next paycheck.

Still reading it all.
Not sure that I understand Betfair yet...

I like doing blackjack, so I may look into this rather than football ones.

So I need to start with about £125... £100 for Betfair. then £25 for casino's to start with. I keep this thread bookmarked and the website.

But thanks for all the info Anksta, nicely layed out.

Yeah you need to be able to afford having money in the system if you're going to do it.

I had about £2000 tied up in it at one point. Overdrafts are useful.

How are people doing with this? I'm considering giving it another go (have a wedding to save for in just over a year, not to mention several other things)

Just thought I'd check up on this thread, been a long time since I last looked in on it and some other people have started to ask me about it again so instead of startin a new thread with all the same questions I'm just checkin back in here.

I'm so gutted I never kept a running total when I started on the bookies (over a year ago now, well over in fact) because I now have no idea whatsoever how much I've made, I have a rough guess but for all I know it could be out by 500 quid.

I've done at least 10 casinos and at least another 10 or so monthly offers so I reckon I must be well clear of the 2k mark.

I realise when I started I advised against having a go at casinos but now I'm officially a convert I think this should involve both bonus baggings now, bookies and casinos.

I think if you're still just startin out (and if you are, you should get on it as soon as possible while you still can, and you definitely still can at the mo) then you should hit a few bookies with Quidco, get upto about 100 quid profit and then go at both types simultaneously.

I reckon using this approach and a bit of commitment in your spare time, you could clear the 500 mark easily within a week. This thread has died down a lot since it started but I think we should get it goin again.

I did a blackjack bonus bagging earlier on on Corel and had absolutely rotten luck - I broke even in the end with the bonus included! The FundMyDegree.com site has a chart on how to play each hands and I was always fluctuating around the amount I put in (as expected) but then I lost about 20 hands in a row.

I made 50p profit in the end, wasn't really worth it. Going to try again once the money I withdrew goes back into the bank to see if it was just bad luck on my behalf! :p

sorry didn't see the reply, hopefully you see my reply to your reply :p

Out of interest how much dosh to you have invested in this at any one time. The bigger downer for me (i've only tried it twice and have made a profit of £105, quidco + one of the bookies accidentally gave me back my stake aswell) is that when I used WH, it took me over a week just to get £30 back.

Oh and 6 months to get my money back from quidco!!!!!

The amount you need out your account, liquidity or investment, whatever you wanna call it is dependant on a few things, how fast you wanna go how many you wanna do at any one time and how strict you are with withdrawals and checking etc.

If you were to go the quickest possible way, which even though I never did it, would probably be one of the internet transaction thingies like MoneyBookers or Neteller, theres a few others as well but thats irrelevant. If you were to do it this way, you could probably manage with under a 100 out of your account at any one time. Bear in mind though that having money in your moneybookers or whatever isnt the same as in your bank account, it just means its easier to move around from bookie to bookie.

Otherwise, if you were to go the regular way, which I did and most people do, is deposit and withdraw at each individual bookie using your debit/credit card then you're probably looking at at least 200. Bear in mind though that this is only because it takes a lot longer for the places to process your withdrawal then it does your deposit so if you were to use MoneyBookers you could withdraw 30 quid and then put that exact same 30 quid into another website, if you're using your card then it wont be the same one so you'd be takin 60 out of your bank account.

Hope this helps, anyother questions just post them.
