Spirulina is the richest source of natural protein there is and is considered a superfood too.

For a couple of months now I've been taking Spirulina and Chlorella tablets, and mix flax seed into things like my porridge or salads. Does Spirulina powder add much of an odd flavour when you put it in things like porridge?

The tablets are of course smaller so you’re taking in less spirulina and as such the taste is less noticed. I usually put a tablespoon of it in which is approx. 7g. An amount that does have an affect on the overall taste which is why I only really add such an amount to a flavoured smoothie to counter the taste.

Other folks have it in smaller amounts spread over the day. Sprinkle a bit here and there on each meal to get their daily dosage. Tablets seem to be the less faff way of doing just that I guess. I just like how everything turns green
