Images of items I have purchased (except trainers [no feet pics])

It is funny when people boast (lie) on the Internet to complete strangers. Maybe @StonedPriest has some serious personal issues though.

I can post about wealth that would blow everyone here’s minds. In fact I can fairly safely say that I could post about wealth that very likely exceeds the total value of every single poster in this thread combined. This money is owned by a singular person.

It’s not my wealth but yanno... GD :D

Oh I see your client, but think I could throw one of mine in the ring. Much of his wealth is of...dubious acquisition mind you!

How long is that expected to last? Do you use it for more than just fueling a wood burner?

Ducky mechanical keyboard. I'm coming from an apple keyboard that's extremely low profile in comparison, so it's taking a considerable amount of getting used to.

Working from home solidly since March has made me want to invest a few more quid in to freshening the home office up a little bit, so I'm looking for some replacement key caps for it (nigh on impossible), and a new desk mat, as the faux leather one I've been using for the last 5 years is now looking a bit shabby.

I'd like a custom desk mat that's a similar size (XL or XXL to most standards), but would like a dark grey cloth mat with a custom print. Less likely to show up the dust!

Anybody had any luck with any particular printing companies in the UK printing on desk mats?

He mentions a biomass boiler in a later post - so bulk buying and seasoning the wood himself should save quite bit of money. Looks cool too - and less grass to mow, worth the boiler for that alone.

Once it's dried sufficiently it'll be used to fuel the biomass boiler, probably the winter after this one if the wood isn't dry enough to use.

Finally bought a bar for my home gym so I can return the bar I borrowed from @Syla5

It wasn't my first choice of colour, but it's Cerakote and a reasonable price so wasn't fussed. Papa Smurf would approve.

You'll want to start with the ones at the bottom before rot sets in. Just gently lift the pile and grab the one you need. Maybe wear some gloves.

If only! :D Some of those logs weigh a huge amount, making that picture the @Malevolence showed of Arnie all the more impressive!

It's to be used for fuelling the biomass boiler mainly and the stove in the livingroom, as well as the occasional campfire when friends are round ;). It should last two to three years / winters depending on how harsh they are. This is my first year doing this (moved in last year) and it's all a bit of a faff so I'm actively looking in to removing the biomass boiler and putting in a ground source heat pump system in it's place, but that is really expensive.

You are spot on, the savings are huge. That wood cost just under £500 plus £200 haulage. The 20 tonnes will eventually dry out to roughly 14 tonnes when seasoned. To buy that 14 tonnes already split and seasoned would me around £3,000 depending on if it was hard or soft wood. As for less grass to mow, I'd rather cut the grass than cut and split so many logs! But hey, it'll keep me fit and save me some money too.

Samsung Galaxy Active 2

I made the mistake of buying a Fossil Sport 3 last summer, quite possibly the worst thing I have ever spent money on. After endless trouble with that they sent me a brand new Sport 5 a couple weeks ago, I quickly sold it on and bought this instead.

I was going to buy a Huawei to match my phone, but realised you can't install 3rd party apps which would have been no good as I use Strava for running/cycling.

First impressions are good, so much better than the Fossil.

Yep, was installed in 2012. :) My under cupboard lighting strip has gone a bit wonky though and needed diffusing.
Do you do drum rolls when dinner is about to be served? :)

*And what kit is that? I'm considering a small/electronic kit for myself as i've always wanted to learn (they seem practical/less annoying for neighbours). I have the room now - and would need to buy soon before i fill it with more guitars.
