Images of items I have purchased (except trainers [no feet pics])

Facom are really good, all of the special service tools at my years at a Merc dealer were made by them.

But..

You really do need one of these..

Perfect for snapping off the heads of every bolt on planet earth :D

What the hell have you done to that?! Had mine 6/7 years at least now, it looks 100x better than that and it's had a lot of use :P

Jesus that looks hefty. Whats the max torque?

I need a new makita one mines seriously banged up and only works on max setting.
Sounds odd but I steer clear of snap on power tools. I have a Makita DTW1002 which I'm quite happy with as it's yet to fail to get the job done. (unless it doesn't fit) It doesn't look quite as clean as this now.

Just like @Kei above I recently got a Makita impact wrench in the BF sales but opted for the DTW700Z - 1,000Nm of nut busting torque was enough for me! I especially like the function where it will stop immediately after applying torque (or after configuring 0.5s or 1s) which is perfect for doing up wheel bolts, ensures that you don't over torque them. Then you can use a torque wrench to tighten the bolts to spec.

Bought this off eBay for a steal of a price, £125 for the unit, charger and 4ah battery - I'm pretty sure separately the bundle would cost circa £350 as the unit itself from new doesn't come with batteries or a charging unit.

I was previously using a Worx W629 with 320 PSI, this has 3x that amount. Read you can get an adapter and a proper foaming lance vs the soaping bottle these units come with.

It was a bolt on for my Gousto subscription so I guess it prioritises being thrown into a box of stuff sent DPD versus a specific wine bottle delivery (weight, fragility). Kinda cool. Perfect for slipping into a jacket :D

Fits down the side of heavy boots of Russian soldiers invaluable

I'm curious, have you ever played Assetto Corsa and are they as hard to drive as they are in Assetto Corsa? They're quite loose cars when starting to push them. Though they seem to be fun. A lot of weight transfer.

Nice colour scheme. I assume it's a form of metallic pearlescent the way it shifts to yellow in brighter parts?

I was thinking it was two tone also. Could just be good polish job I guess. The Lotus is mid engine, the feel of that car should vary considerably from standard FWD most of us are used to and any good game would reflect that. Now I want to play Assetto Corsa

Very far from the most exciting thing I've ever bought, but it needed to be done. 77sq m of loft insulation to top up what's already there.

We also had the loft hatch moved to a better position, 10sq m of loft boarding and a loft ladder fitted. When the electrician came to move the light switch he put in an illuminated plate between the backbox and switch so that it was easy to find the switch when coming into the loft. It's not as retina burning as the picture suggests, it's quite a soft glow.

"You versus the guy she tells you not to worry about". Sick of transferring 20 bags of individual crap over each time I go away (food, baby clothes, toys, my stuff, her stuff, etc etc). This guy takes everything and then slots in next to the pram in the boot. Got it for a steal as well.

New watch. Going to get a new strap as I don’t like the blue and my old black one is a bit mankey

The old one fell 15m from the top of a sim, twice. Survived the first fall, second one really broke it.
