The main attraction being the gorgeous 90Hz OLED touchscreen.

Cheers. It's a Solidor, but went through a company called timber composite. Door was £1100, fitting £600, so £1700 total.

Initially configured exactly the same door direct with Solidor and was quoted £2500
Nice one.

I’ve requested a quote through Everest for a Munich door with added extras so I’m awaiting a call back with a rough price.

I’ll have a look at Timber composite too, cheers.

Just done a quote with Timber Composite and it’s come back at £2200 fitted!

I get the feeling that the quote is heavily dependent on the fitter the job is farmed out to. Some of them are extracting the urine it seems :(

I just had a solidor from Timber Composites fitted. Door and side window panel affair. I think it was 2,000.

My main concern with the whole thing was the quality of the installers, as that appears to be the main complaint with any... thing at all we have done to our homes. This lot I believe just use one company for fitting, who I was told use permanent employees and not random contractors. Who knows how true that is.

In any case they did mine OK and managed not to chop off my Internet nor electrocute themselves on the porch light etc. And the door opens and closes. Like a door.

Edit: oh yeah, a photo

I think our installers were called Martindales. They seem to have done a really good job, touch wood :)

The idea behind getting the Fire stick was to use it on my monitor to watch Youtube & Amazon prime etc, rather than firing up the PC to do the same.
The FS, monitor and sound bar uses around 75/80W whereas the PC, monitor and sound bar draws around 250W.
Ok, it’s not the largest saving ever, but it’s better than nothing.

Don't you get YouTube adverts via the FireStick? I haven't found a way to remove them on my FireTVCube..

YouTube premium for £1.09 a month when you sign up using a VPN connected to India.

Still use your UK account and UK bank account.
Same here. Bit of a faff to setup but massive savings compared to the normal YTP subs. I probably couldn't go back to normal youtube now.
