Images of items I have purchased (except trainers [no feet pics])

Worked out a few £'s more to order last night from the forest with delivery just now than to rent out.

And system not found this morning

Annoyed is a huge understatement
Mine do that every now and then.
It's annoying but have you tried minimising the app, open another tab then change the tab back to sonos and it should find your stuff again ....

Was going through the setup again (and failing) eventually.got one speaker added and it asked "add to existing system?"

It just "reappeared"

Was never that impressed with the Sonos Play 3 we had and after the update it just annoyed me every time I used it.
Decided to get a Ruark R3S that sounds fantastic and plays everything you chuck at it including CD's.
It's been amazing to play my Cd's again after all these years and I've picked up quite a few more for next to nothing on eBay.

I am doing the same, picking up CDs from charity and eBay stores. Just need something to play them on. I have been deliberating buying one of these since Xmas! :)

I own a set of Ruark MR1 desktop speakers and now I am a bit of Ruark fan, really impressed with them. Looks well nice and good to get an idea of size.

It sounds fantastic, I was deliberating for a while but so pleased I eventually got one.
I got a graded one direct from Ruark, it looks brand new to me, comes with a 2 year warranty like a new one.
I think CD's are going to make a resurgence (they probably already have, I'm always way behind on these things), choosing an album to play and inserting physical media adds to the listening experience for me. So much better than just listening to random tracks on Spotify, which is all I used to do before.

ES15S screwdriver. Replacement for my old ES120 which had broken. I keep doing this - I ordered the new one then with nothing to lose I took the old ES120 apart to see if I could repair it (the OLED screen had failed so no access to settings). Manufacturer did not offer spares but I located a generic part and managed to install it OK. Now it works again. I should learn to try and fix stuff _before_ ordering replacements..

Nice work. The trick to justify it, is to use the new one in the process of repairing the old one.

Hey, at least you should be alright when the Daleks show up.
Yeah, eat your heart out Dr.Who.

I discovered 2 things - first being that orange USB-C cable plugged into the USB ports on my mains extension won't charge the driver even though the lights on it were flashing like they were supposed to when charging. I thought it was broke. Using a ordinary phone charger it worked OK. Not sure if it's the lead or the ports on the extension but that cable is a 240W job so maybe different?

Also, 2.5mm hex stand-offs fit in place of the driver bits, so I'm making some tiny drills using them. They're brass but by screwing a 2.5mm steel screw in the other end and grinding it flat, the magnetic bit retention works for the drills. Handy for drilling small holes in PCBs and such like, more convenient than using a Dremel anyway.
