I have a similar job to do and I am tempted to just use a circular saw set to floor depth and chopping out the bits I need. Refit will involve noggins...Got some floorboards to take up, plane and then put back down. This should help.

Dude, I am literally telling you to get onto Screwfix and buy a body only circular saw!Ours are tongue and groove, so this is to cut the tongues off of the boards that are not coming up as easy, so not to destroy them. I thought about doing it with my circular saw, but decided this would be easier. Plus it gave me a reason to own a new tool.![]()

(but seriously you can do the same patching up with T&G, too).
Bought some new tools, a good quality circular saw and a budget jigsaw and orbital sander that I'll upgrade eventually if I start using them more.

Also bought some timber, wood glue, wood stain, varnish and some trendy hairpin legs to put this together...

Also bought the two monitors, both of them open box but brand new bargains.
Now my wife has a proper desk to WFH from.
Got some floorboards to take up, plane and then put back down. This should help.

Blimey that's a few quid.Bought some whisky:
I will let you know how I get on with it. I believe you do need a sub to get anything out of it as on the site it says your notes will be kept "local." Kind of brutal to force a user into a sub to use features that are standard across other devices but I guess the device is a niche so they charge what they like. The remarkable comes with a 100day sub to try out and the 100 day free return if you don't like it. I've got it on this basis as a trial as I want to be able to write and convert it with less drama than my Rocketbook gives me. If it doesn't work out, I'll just go back to that.
I've only had it for about 4 hours but the pen feels nice and balanced, the feeling when writing or drawing is paper-like. Very responsive when you put pressure on the pen. I've done a quick text conversion and worked waaayyy better for my handwriting than when I convert using my rocketbook to convert notes. Also uploaded my novel to the device so I can note over it; drag and drop through their website and synced over in a minute.
Good so far
Noticed a little plant shop in Leeds market the last time I was passing through that seemed very cheap, so today decided to go have another look. We ended up finding three shops, all very similarly priced but two of them in particular had a few things we wanted. So as not to disappoint either shop keeper, we each went to a different shop and bought a few plants then met at our meeting point away from both of them
We bought a plant recently from a trendy plant shop (with gifted vouchers) just round the corner from the market that is very similar to one of the bigger ones we got today, that one cost the same price that all of these cost.

The tent alone appears to weigh 25kg! I bet it'll be palatial though.
Wes are you sure that whilst the mattress can fit the floor plan, the walls of the sleeping areas don't converge to the extent that you'll actually be able to fit the thickness of mattress in there? Genuine question by the way! It's a real issue with standard camping air mats in normal tents, and that is one of the thickest beds I've ever seen!
