More of these, but annoyingly AGAIN, the biscuits arrived in pieces. I will now moan to live chat on Amazon as they really should put handle with care stickers on biscuits. If they were cheap biscuits then sure, but you expect a standard with these.

uncovered a piccy of old build, installing two new 6950's, ahh, crossfire days, must be over 10 years ago. Bit optimistic with the psu as gpu's were 200w but worked fine. Needed something beefier for R9 390 CF which followed as they were 275W.
Funny how multi-gpu died a death?

Too much faff, too much heat, too much noise, too much space consumption, too much cost buying two GPUs, not all games worked well with it either. Probably more things.

too much they manufacturers didn’t want you doing it. Always remember have two 8800gt I think at £105 each in sli which trounced Nvidia flagship card at 4 times the price.

but not every game supported sli. Last time I bothered with sli was with two 2080ti. Fantastic performce in the few games they bother worked in, all the rest of the time you were gaming on just one 2080tu

Multi-GPU peaked with Voodoo 2 SLI.

I ran two R9 280x in crossfire for a while but it the performance uplift over one card was not worth the faff.
 
Over night stay at James Mays place before travelling on to Sand Banks.

Tempted to do a night or two in Salisbury, but never been and unsure if you there is enough there to do?
