Might have to replace the ducting as it's not drawing much out so I suspect a leak or blockage somewhere.
Does yours have several power settings? It looks very similar to a unit I have and the power setting change is done by removing that rectangular cover and reattaching some wires. But it'll be in the manual if yours can indeed do that!

It has 3, it's on the most. I took the exhaust side off and sucks much better.

The issue is the run to the soffit is 4.5m, the tubing is either dented or it's blocked at the soffit.

Think I will core drill out of the wall and shorten the run, or replace a tile with a vented tile and vent to that.

Short runs = better.

Probably not very helpful to you but it's better to have fans near the end of the run - basically if it's sucking through the pipe, any leaks will draw extra air in. Whereas any ducts being pushed through, leaks will lead to damp air escaping into the space around it.

Cheers, I can't move it much due to the length of power cable available, I could make a longer twin and earth run I guess.

Which I fitted myself, no doubt I will die as most electricians driving £50k transporters will have you believe. Wish me luck.

I recommend you insulate the fan itself to stop moisture condensing and it leaking from the unit casing. I didn't and found this a few months later:

Thanks - how did you fix it?

I switched it off and removed the fan :D, temporarily. I have to raise the loft floor and put down more insulation so thinking of solutions. For you I think wrapping it would be fine.

how long were you running it during/after showers ? the timer on ours stops maybe only 5 minutes after light goes off - so often leave light on 20mins.

Let me know how you get on with the mic; I rarely use my 75ts for anything other than music because the mic is just impossible for quality conversations with people (they don't moan, but I know how frustrating it is to have to listen to folk with mics less quality than a proper boom setup).

Some feedback after using it in the office yesterday:

* Mic quality - This seemed fine. People on the other end said it was clear although had a slight hint of an echo and distance. They said it wasn't significantly worse than my previous headset. This was using the USB dongle to connect to my laptop. The office was quiet though, with few people sitting near me.
* Battery life - I used it for about an hour total commuting (listening to music) and probably around four hours on calls. Between calls I was putting the earbuds back in the case to charge. The battery indicator on the case showed around 50% (the indicator isn't precise - it's a graphic) and the buds fully charged (realistically the buds would have been a bit below full as I had used them on the way home).
* Range - I was disappointed with this. I was on a call (USB dongle in laptop) and went a few desks away to help someone. I could hear the call crystal clear but when I went off mute to talk I was apparently breaking up. The laptop wasn't in line of sight (thick pillar) but I was only a few desks away. I will have to test this more but that was disappointing compared to my other headsets.
* Comfort - This is a subjective thing. I think they will take a bit of getting used to. I prefer over the head style headsets and for music use Jabra Elite 75t's which are small round buds that just push straight in. The Poly Free 60's are more like Apple Pro's and hang out of the ear. They frequently felt loose and about to fall out. But when I checked them they were firmly in place and there was no risk of them coming out. It just felt like they were. This is probably just because I am used to a different style of earbud. Other people may not notice this.
* Music - They seemed fine. About the same as my Jabra's but with a fraction less base. However they were amazingly clear for both voice and music - superior to my Jabra's in clarity.
* ANC - Pretty weak compared to other headsets. It's there. Just. I don't tend to use it much on other headsets though.
* General impression - The controls on the earbuds are fiddly so I always used the case controls. Being able to mute and end calls on the case was very useful however. The case is quite large and I struggled to open it while holding a cup of coffee. So for casual on-the-go carrying these are less convenient. The case doesn't have a magnetic catch so I wonder whether the case hinges may become loose over time. Furthermore I worry about scratches on the screen. However the earbuds themselves are held in magnetically and whole case and the earbuds feel very high quality to touch, remove, use and put back in the case. It's hard to explain but they just feel solid (not heavy, but solid).

Overall I am not yet sure whether I will keep them. I really do like them. The only big concern so far has been distance when talking. I will need to test that more. But the bigger question is whether they are worth the money. They are quite expensive (I managed to get a good price on them). I don't think they are worth the high cost. They are good but not amazing, which is what I expect at this price point. If they were sub-£200 I would absolutely keep them. But I think for the price these are selling at I could get equally good earbuds (or just keep my Jabra's) and also a travel headset such as the Poly 5200 UC. That only has a single earphone but a much better mic. Or another solution is to buy another pair of Voyager Focus 2's and leave them at my daughters flat for when I do visit her. So I am undecided at this point, simply due to the price.

Very helpful thanks Hades. I think you've reached a similar conclusion to what I did but on the Jabra 75Ts. I upgraded from the 65Ts expecting something "epic" but they just don't compete with a proper boom mic wireless headset for most use cases so always were music only/VERY occasional use (people can't stand it when I use them - the clicky clacky keyboard just gets beamed at full annoyance volume). Now if in my instance the 75ts had been "double the cost" or w/e the Polys cost; I'd really struggle to not boomerang them.

I've not used the Poly Voyager but I do recommend the Evolve2 if you fancied something different :) Roughly the same I expect tho!

Thanks. I thnk I looked at the Jabra Evolve2's when I got my Voyager Focus. I could have got either. Maybe it makes sense to try Jabra this time around for a bit of a comparison.

Couldn’t hold out for the 15 in September?

Bit far away really, I’ve been “putting up” with this iPhone 12 for too long already. It hadn’t aged well, kept crashing, lagging and the speaker was none existent, loud speaker only calls etc.

Contributing factors were currently paying far too much for a broken phone.

Haven’t kept up with the same latest a greatest phones over the last couple of years, went from XR to 12 now to 14.

£888 over 2 Years including Unlimited Calls, Texts and 100GB.

Considering the phone is £849 - Pretty pleased to drop on with this deal! Not to sound defensive, not my intention
