Yes if you don't go into London a lot it can be daunting for people. It's still nothing like it used to be imo since COVID. Just so many people work from home now the city - especially financial district - is just so much less busy. Thursday nights seem to be the new Friday night as nobody tends...

Mare's tail
I saw a video on this over the weekend (thriliing, I know). Apparently Mare's Tail survived the meteorite that wiped out the dinosaurs. It has evolved a silica (I think) covering, which makes it imprenetrable to weed killers. The guy in the video said there are two ways to get rid of it: dig it out, dig it out, dig it out. Or, you have to grab the Mare's Tail and basically crush it in your hands before applying the weed killer. This apparently breaks up the silica and enables the weed killer to get to the actual plant.
