Oh, regarding official parking inconvenient?

There's a frequent bus, always space, lots of bus stops in the car park, it's like 10mins max on the bus. A dedicated bus stop just outside the door at arrival.

How is Purple Parking better and more convenient?
When I chose it.. It was just cheaper.

You guys reminded me I needed to buy some airport parking! £52 in March for 5 nights at Gatwick long stay. Didn't think it was too bad. Closer than purple parking and the like, and you don't need to leave them your keys like some alternatives.

To avoid further derailment... Some exciting non-parking purchases... Cooking thingamajigs.

Never tried 3rd party ones...do they:

1 - Take your keys? - This is an absolute No No.
2 - Have free shuttle frequently, and 24/7

Yes, they take your keys. I've used them a few times and never had a problem. No need for a shuttle because you drop your car off and pick it up next to the terminal.

edit: I say the official parking is inconvenient because those buses can sometimes be a 15-20 minute wait plus 10 minutes or so on the bus.

The key part is a deal breaker for me, the 10min wait is nothing when the drive to the airport for me can be like 3hrs.

I rather pay more and keep the keys.

Never had an issue with them taking my keys, yeah they could lose them but you could also bring the spare, so there is little to go wrong.

Worst issue is they park very close to other cars and I doubt you'd do well arguing if you had a dint etc. My car is cheap, and the money saved was worth it though.

I rather not bring a spare. My car is also old and cheap but it’s mine, it is also a T5, 5 pot turbo so you never know they might fancy a little spin in it…I rather pay £20 more and not worry about losing a key (£300 for a replacement!), or the hassle or trying to squeeze that money from them, or insurance to get that back or just general piece of mind that I know I am the only person who have access to it.

The piece of mind is worth it…I just don’t want to hand over my keys….i even check my dashcam when I drop my car off to my mechanic the first time!

They look nice, where from? Need some new frying pans...

@Hyburnate - Richie was spot on with the link above.

Only used them once through, so too soon to judge. Feel pretty sturdy and the fried eggs I cooked certainly didn't stick though.

Previously I had a pair of Tefal's that lasted for donkeys years, but followed them a couple more duff Tefal's that only lasted a year or two before the non-stick started to fail.
I then tried some ProCook ones, but they were absolutely dreadful.
I was going to try some Kuhn Rikon ones, but these Ninja ones got slightly better reviews.

Yea, it's not the losing the keys that concerns me, it's the idea of them damaging the car, or (less likely admittedly) them taking for a little joyride!

Yeah I get that, also have a fiesta St so no doubt it got ragged a bit. Sadly the price difference for me was significant enough for me to do it.

Hopefully some kid had some fun.

Flamer Thrower!

Not expecting much but will be a bit of fun so me and my son while making a start on cleaning up my mums patio. Couldn't resist at 20 quid

Also purchased some other patio cleaning equipment but those are boring
