Neither am I. Mrk has used the word 'too' correctly as far as I can tell. Maybe that's what lead to clovis's confusion.

Looks great, personally I've never been drawn to wooden floors, I just don't think they're very homely, especially in a lounge, you can't fault they look great aesthetically.

Where do you sit to watch the TV?

I agree. Nice to look at but only really belong in hallways, bathrooms, dining rooms and kitchens.

You cant beat a nice thick carpet in the living room. One of those where your feet sink in to it.

I put a, suitably expensive, solid oak floor down in our old home.

It was an absolute nightmare, showing every single mark. Unless you walked over it on feather dusters, it got chipped and scratched, eventually looking like a lion had tried to cut through the floor.

Never again.
