Went with the old version of the VIFLY one, saw the Cree version was only a few quid more but I don't want the increased brightness some idiot from Jersey might try to shoot it
Won't the strobe take it over 250g?

well its a 249g drone so yea, It restricts where you can fly sure, but at night your not likely to be flying around people and buildings anyway.
I just detach the Strobe for the daytime.

technically if you really wanted you could scratch 5grams of plastic from the drones edges
people have done it.

or you could just lie to the police, they aren't weighing your drone, you say it's a mini and thats it
The pieces of velcro to attach the strobe doesnt register on my kitchen scale so probably weighs less than 0.5gram

How often do you see the popo anyway? we are worrying about a 6gram safety device to comply with CAA regs...
Meanwhile millions of people are using illegal ebikes and escooters everyday.

ever seen a slow deliveroo rider? those things are making electrical noise still at 20mph

Trying to get my cables organised so I can get down/focus on what I need.

Ended up buying more cables

Does anyone know if these are legit? They reckon they're 8k ready - but they're super slim. I'm only using them for a PS3 and an Xbox 360 lol.

Scan the QR code on the bottom left with the Hdmi Cable Certificate app (orange logo)

I'm generally a fan of Ugreen stuff. Always seems decent

As sad as it sounds. I'm looking forward to getting in our house and being able to buy new cables to fit stuff located in their final spots. At the moment my network cupboard is a mess with 1m cables connecting 2 devices next to each other!

Having had a shocking past 1-2 months, I've decided to run away last minute!

Will land in time to get to Chiang Mai for Loy Krathong, which will hopefully be a great thing to see.

I've not left Europe before, so the flight will be an experience in itself.

Sooo - I enjoyed my time in Thailand, so much so, that I have negotiated a sabbatical at work and going out there for 2 months :D

Will get to experience Songkran as well, so that’ll be fun!

Life is short. Do fun stuff.

It's got Ultra High Speed HDMI cable on the packaging which means it's a legit HDMI 2.1 cable you can scan the QR code to verify. I got one recently from Kenable who are well respected. I'm using it with my Mac mini at 120 Hz. It only cost £3.95, I would have gone for a Ugreen one otherwise.

ooo i do like a nice adjustable.. where from??

eBay, new from a business seller - they had them for £122 and there was a code for a further £6 off.

These are the Wera Joker 6004 line so they have a narrow adjustment range. When you apply force one way on the handle, they essentially grip on tighter. So they almost have a ratcheting kind of function, applying force the opposite way opens the grip so you can reposition on the nut.

The XL and XXL are probably the more useful size, I've seen eBay sellers stating the XXL can do compression fittings for both 15 and 22mm pipe.
