Bought some wood and brackets to make a rack for my airsoft guns.
I was running out of space in the under stairs cupboard.

Bought a new computer (NUC6i3SYH, 16gb RAM, 256GB Intel M2) and a new monitor (LG 27UD58) which the NUC is mounted to the back of. Not really a purchase, but made a pallet wood monitor stand to go with them. As a mac user who has just returned to windows after almost 5 years I'm quite pleased with it all.

Certainly does bring back memories :)

I had a Boomerang, which I recall saving up my pocket money and doing numerous jobs to be able to afford it. Then spending nights carefully building it on the dinning room table.

Edit: Just had a quick search and it appears the Boomerang is no longer available :(

Ideally I would have had a monitor with speakers in as they would have been good enough for what I'm using it for, but there is no comparable IPS monitor for with speakers in for the same money. They are only cheapo speakers and a bit of a after thought really, it was a sort of minimalist iMac replacement/all in one build that I was going for. Annoyingly the rf shielding on the monitor stops the wireless keyboard and mouse from working properly from the other side of the monitor. I have the dongle on a little usb extension cable and that has fixed that!
