You obviously have no idea how 60's cars we built - - Is that 1962 reg - will be a total rust bucket now or in future but if you like it so be it.

1964, and I'm well aware. Largely rust free. Somewhat crunchy inner arches on the rear which will be addressed, but the rest of the car is free from any real rust. It's been garaged, and will continue to be garaged, pampered and used for summer runs and car shows.

It's a toy, not a daily runabout, and it's got less rust on it than my girlfriend's focus! British metal didn't get much better in the 37 years between them!

It certainly would. It's not really transport as such, it's a hobby and imo if you try to treat a classic any different it won't work out well. Didn't for me anyway!
