I love this so much. It's amazing. I was really unsure about spending such a lump on a jack, because they're not fun or interesting, but I don't see me needing to buy another jack ever really. Really low entry and raises up really high. Love it.

Get a great chunky round tree log as thick as you are to push underneath and guarantee they'll always be space if you intend to get under a car thats jacked up

To cut a long story short I ended up with 2 MS Surfacebooks for the price of 1 due to a warranty replacement debacle. They tried to fob me off with a refurb as a replacement for a 6 week old faulty SB.

All said, it's a lovely laptop.

I like these, and VERY tempted by one. But that hinge...the fact it doesn't shut completely flat would bug me a lot.

Stocking up on tubing, PETG, acrylic and glass with some Red and Blue Brass tubing on the way.

Also some dyes and a bending jig.

its so close to a perfect device. I don't mind the hinge. I do mind the tablet has poor battery life and doesn't have a kickstand and that the base hasn't got a 1050 or 1060 gpu. Really just want the surface pro with that base.
Hoping and expect surface book 2 to be far better when ever it gets released.

I thought the same initially, but after a bit of research I found the ROSEWILL RK-9000V2, £39 for a sturdy keyboard with genuine MX Browns. Seems like a good deal.
