Thanks mate, the orange seems to get a lot of criticism but when you see it on a sunny day you really appreciate the colour, has a sparkle to the paint.

In the flesh the orange looks awesome. My other half has got a Fiesta ST in the same colour and indeed, in the sun it looks brilliant.

Very impressive, it just doesn't look right to see a 40+mpg reading on a Porsche though! I'd have thought maybe from the new turbo cars but not a NA! Never seen numbers anywhere near that in my folks 996

Yes it's very impressive... only by sticking to the speed limit too, so wasn't like I was being overtaken by lorries.

I managed to hit 40.1 on the way back in this morning and I wasn't being as careful as I was yesterday.

Damn good engine. Especially wonderful as its NA.

My 987.2 would get about 34-36mpg in similar circumstances... I imagine the 996 was closer to 30.
