I don't think it's that unusual to have the letterbox at the bottom of the door is it?

I've looked around my street and about a quarter of the street have letterbox at the bottom the same as me.

As a former paper delivery boy, it's really irritating. What's weirder is that you have a pull handle on your push door. Sorry to insult your door, but that's the GD risk.
