Thanks guys. I'll open it up tomorrow and take some photos of the interior. Takes a few minutes for the valves to warm up when you switch it on, and after a while you can smell scorched dust! So might need a cleanout too.

Akira and Blood the last vampire where some of the first anime's i watched, not really a mega fan of the genre anymore but still.
I do remember having a VHS of an anime when i was very young.. but idk what it was called.

I remember first watching Akira on BBC2 in 94, stuck with anime for a decade or so and likewise not as enthusiastic about it that much these days but couldn't pass up the Akira boxset. Massive box and beautifully presented.

I'm more into books than graphic novels though (this is my first graphic novel), but grabbed it as would be rude not to

Guess it depends on what the person you're buying it for is into.
