That’s good to hear - Although I have no experience of mechanical keyboards, where would I get suitable caps from?

Anywhere Auction sites, etailers and even OcUK . Just search for "key caps". There are expensive and cheap sets, but they all do pretty much the same job.

Bit of a difference between billion year old dino penis that had been subjected to immense pressures and heat, to 10 to 20 year old human skin and insect poop which has just been left to rot away on the surface though

The books and tools are all provided, however if you were to consider doing anything engineering related I'd say do as much maths revision and study as you can, it gets hardcore
