Only £200 for the bundle. Amazing offer in my opinion. I bought it primarily so I can play PS3 exclusives. I can't wait to play The Last Of Us on Saturday. Somehow I've managed to avoid any and all spoilers relating to the game since launch!

I bet that cost more than my masters that i'm doing. :p

Hahah, maybe. I know my 4th Year (MEng) was just over a grand.

Putting together the costs at the moment, but overall I think it was a couple of £k, but I was over seeing the GF in Bangkok so it was a combined trip to see her, friends in Sing and the F1.

Ad,

What camera do you use mate? I want one. Those pics are stunning.

Canon 5Dmk3 with a 35mm Sigma F1.4 lens.

I'm still pretty pap with it though compared to some of the guys on here!

You'll get similar IQ to the above with any modern DSLR. Just depends on how you go about photographing your stuff and then processing them.

A bit too lumpy for me. I'll have to look for something with a smaller body but similar IQ.

You won't if you are thinking of a compact, when it comes to cameras and IQ, size really does matter.

The shallow depth of field comes from the 1.4 aperture on the lens and the fact that it is a full frame camera.

There is no compact (that is cheaper than what he has), that can do that.

The full frame adds to the low light capability - lack of noise.

I agree you won't get the same IQ but he said similar, something which lower bodies will definitely be able to do.
