Not the biggest fan of G-Shocks, but from an utility point they are awesome. Solar powered and radio controlled, so always the right time no matter where in the world you are.

But when was the last time you saw someone wearing one in an intended environment? I can't recall a single time but I do appreciate what they offer at relatively affordable prices.

A decent watch box is not just somewhere to keep them. Personally, I'd buy a winder if you care about your valuable pieces
or are they not actually that valuable?

They are valuable to me, so don't want to wear them down by being on a winder. Its a bit like leaving your car running when your not using it.
