Haha, there was an aquascutum across the road :p

I don't think Burberry is actually quite as bad as it used to be. There's much less fake check around now a days. They've done well at reinventing themselves in some ways. Their emergence in the international market has really helped. They're very good at selling British, which it seems the Asian markets love.

That said, I'm more than happy to admit it's normally overpriced, hence you have to hope you like some of the stuff in the sales :)

Burberry

Prices ranged from £9 (sales items) to £130 (this season). I was looking pretty much uniquely at sale stuff, which was normally around £50-70 Quite a few of the quirkier ones were available for £19-29 though.

I was in T.M. Lewin yesterday though, and they had good plain ties at around £30 I think.
