Tapes, CDs, minidiscs etc are considered worthless but many DJs and people that are into music still collect vinyl. Simply because the music can't be found on mp3. Look at how much some go for on discogs.com. Keep hold of the good uns and make sure you listen to them!

Every LP I've still got I have the MP3's for but I did make some of them myself.
I did have loads of pictures I took but I've lost them so I'll have to do them again. I offered them for free as long as people collected and really wanted them. One bloke came up and took about 25 including original Queen & Sex Pistols stuff. I really have zero use for them.

Music simply sounds better on vinyl, more alive.

Awesome! As long as someone wants them, it's brilliant.

I managed to get a load from an old chap while I was clearing his loft out for him. My dad had a few too, like Dark Side of the Moon, The Wall, few other decent albums that I love to listen to.

As much as I like my vinyls, the MP3s are perfect.

Fantastic! That's 3 of us that I know of on here with Anglias - you, myself, and Jonny69 :)

Can you please get some details of that up in the Motors section here, and on the Owners Club forum!

I'm already on the 105speed forums, and will put a build log on there and in motors here soon, but unfortunately i'm away with work for the next 2 months so wont be able to start one until then :(

On the other hand its a job that allows me to pump vast amounts of cash into the project, so swings and roundabouts :p

I use both vinyl and 320 MP3 in my sets, prefer vinyl any day of the week. It sounds warmer, crisper, more depth and in general, far louder than digital. However as the cost has risen massively over the past couple of years, I tend to only buy from vinyl only labels. Serato enables the perfect middle ground.

Physical collection over a digital collection, easily.
