I think that has been asked and answered before in a Mondeo thread... Someone said it was something to do with radar/distance monitoring I think, but someone else said it was to stop airflow to something or other...

It's the radar for Adaptive Cruise Control. Seeing as I don't have it I'll be replacing the current one for a badgeless one

Yes, one is enough. We store his toys in plastic boxes in the garage to try and keep the house tidy.
He has his moments though, this was earlier in the week.
