Cat hangs its tail in the space between the door and frame, somebody closes the door, one severed tail. :(

When I first looked at the picture I thought that the hammock was hanging on the end of a bed, but I can now see that it is actually on the door itself.

As you say, that could indeed be a problem, especially if the door is slammed!

I am sure that has all been carefully considered though! ;)

How does it get up there?
That's quite a high jump.

He jumps - he usually jumps off the 2ft high TV unit. He's only fallen off once!

It's for a cat, the gymnasts of the mammal world.
Top of a door is no issue :D

He now has his bed on top of the wardrobe because of this!

His tail definitely wouldn't fit, plus we never shut that door. If we ever did, you could easily see if from the other side. We're very careful with him!
