Card reader as for some reason the Sandisk USB 3 reader I have has a CF slot that no longer works and I've lost the warranty paperwork.

Up until now I've been shooting on multiple smaller CF cards and keeping the 128GB SD card inside the camera acting as 1:1 backup for each CF when shooting jobs. CF cards at 128GB+ were ridiculously expensive in the past at some £300~, but now things have changed and fast 128GB CF cards are cheap. This was £85 on Amazon.

I was dubious as some user reviews stated they received a fake in the box (the old switch-a-roo at dispatch warehouse?). I have checked everything and the speed checks out as well as capacity. Buffer empties from the camera in half the time of a 400x CF card I have too.

Write speed via the card reader connected to my monitor's USB3 port is 72-73MB/s and read speed is 150MB/s.

Nice I have an R10 and love it. Leupold scopes are ace which one did you get?

Bubble levels are a no no for HFT though

Bubble is just for scope setup, although I may stick with the plumb line method...

Amazing! got it for £162 and I've been using 22" 1650 since 2007 so to me it's a big improvement.

Just tried it on a 120Hz BF4 server and it's like I'm playing with a higher FPS because it's so smooth!

This is going back, I've given it enough chances this evening.... will post pictures of it boxed up

1 - Really rubbish as a USB dac. I cannot give it any credence in this mode.

2 - as a player it's so so. Sounds ok with cheap headphones but unable to drive any decent headphones/IEM

Avoid with a barge pole guys

Try getting a good DAC "Chord Mojo", hook it up to your phone it will blow your mind...
