And yep, that's how battered it arrived. Luckily I checked it before the courier left and ti was all ok. Can't really complain, 48" TV for 241.99 new!

not new but just bought my self a Kirby G6 2000.

Ive had a Heritage 2 for years which my Mum bought new in the 80's.
its always been a great tool and still works strong and has all the attachments it came with from new.

a few years ago I picked up a G4 which has been in regular use since but never had any of its tool's sadly. so the wife has borrowed that on a long term loan and it gets used at the children's home she works at. ( she said a standard vacuum couldn't cope with all the kids mess )

so I spotted the G6 2000 for sale locally and it came with all the tools and shampoo bits which was a bonus.

there industrial but great for cleaning the car interior and works better than any of the Dyson's ive tried..

plus the bonus.. it can be used to blow air and it can blow at a fair rate so its great for dusting out PC's

I remember the salesmen knocking at door selling them - they cost more that I was earning in three month's - told them to bugger off.

I use my Screwfix tank vac to blow out car before I vac it out.

yea there great machines but I would never buy one new. when my mum bought the heritage 2 back when it was new my Dad was working with the SSEB ( southern Scotland electricity board ) he was making really good money and as he says it wasn't missed at the time.

That certainly looks like it can do the job.

I've found Henry is weak as well for cleaning the car, or mats to be more specific. To be fair probably need to use a brush and water to clean them properly.
