Just up graded mine and my misses dash cams from some no name Chinese things to the nextbase 402g seems the best quality for price.

Had a camera for a few years now and has stopped a few arguments when people get shouty about giving way and using mini round abouts. Simply point at camera and they soon shut up and move out the way.

costco are doing them for £110 with an 8gb card and case at the moment, much cheaper than halfords.

Glad our roads/drivers are not this bad!

Love how people who bought a dashcam point to a compilation in foreign countries :D

....will probably still get one now though :p
 
As I said before.
My dashcam has saved me twice in the UK from losing out :)

Although one claim is still ongoing the cam made it much easier with it involving a foreign lorry driver.

The other was a wheel/tyre claim from the council who folded straight away when I proved signage was missing with both preceeding and impact damage footage.

I actually bought the cam after something fell off a bike that overtook me on the motorway and whacked my door panel. Despite having the plate and reporting the incident, without an impartial witness or camera footage I was unable to claim against the driver.

Agreed 100% - I first sampled a half pint which was enough for me as I'm not a huge fan of stouts and it is rather heavy.
