Mrk, does that aerial get better reception? Because, wow, is it ugly compared to the old one!

Same reception, it's a lot nicer than the old bendy rc car aerial that looks like a thin ribbed phallus especially from side profile!

Got this from the inlaws:

Had a little glass last night and enjoyed it very much. Lots of flavour and smokiness.

Got the same toaster. The control knob is useless. Anything below 4 and it comes out with only a hint of toasting. I just crank it up to 5 and wait until I can smell burning.

Good toaster tip, thanks.

Currently got two bottles of Laphraoig 10 on my shelf. It's a really good whisky for the price. Try it, and then add a couple of drops of water to it. It mellows it out but opens up the nose a bit and allows the floral flavors to come through a bit more. I prefer it neat, but it's interesting to try nonetheless.

Some MIDI cables, had to order these to size as I need some that you can adjust the angles.

I got the length of the short one slightly wrong and had to do a slight loop, oops!

Laphraoig is one of my favourites - first tried it in a pub several years ago and I've been buying it ever since. It gets very mixed opinions from my friends, a few of them love it, but most hate it :p

Any chance of an updated photo of your whole pedal board? :) Also, where did you get the MIDI cables from?

This is pretty much the board (with a Fairfield Circuitary Meet Maude which i swap out with the Panther Cub depending how I feel).

I got the cable from Best-tronics from the States, normal off the shelf MIDI cables its too big and these guys also got me some much thinner cables too which isn't on their site. I emailed Brad from there and told him the lengths that i want and he made them to length.

We have this toaster...the button thing for two of the slots stopped working after about a month, so good luck!

May I ask what you need the midi cables for? I can't imagine there's a great deal of need for them playing guitar?? You could record midi signals into your PC, but why would you not just use live sound?!

The midi cables is so I can control them from the front, as the Strymons are at the back, I have a looper with midi at the front, it can bank up and down or access presets.
