Wheres the optical drive?

They are paired with the console by a security key, unless you know the key for the board you are screwed?

It didn't come with an optical drive thats why it was cheap, I think I have a spare one around here somewhere anyway, if not I could always get one off ebay

Otherwise its going to be useless. It's not like a PC where you can just drop in any optical drive, the drive is paired with the motherboard and you cant get the key from the motherboard only the drive.

I've managed to work out my DVD key so it's still a top bargain for a almost new slim 360

I also bought one of these (Black cable adapter) so that I can power my new Slim console with an old style Xbox 360 power brick. Bargain at 99p

No. My dad was the one who forced me to get rid. I cared so much for my dog, she NEVER went without.
