Could I ask for a photo of the inside of your case if poss? I'm thinking to remove the drive bay, the PSU and fit a GA-G31M-ES2L microATX mobo. It's smaller than standard mATX so should fit once PSU is gone. The case is big enough but it depends how much space from the standoff to the bottom edge of the case exists - ie can I fit the WIDTH of the mATX board (9.6")

Hmm interesting idea.

Not sure on how you would mount it or power it :confused:
Basically the PSU is about 1" wide which is at the front of the case.

Ill try to get a pic up once I get home (OcUK @ work :D )


Just scrolled back through the post. The first picture shows the case internals. The right hand side of the case is the "Front". the small block you see with the fan at the top is the psu :)

Blue is where the smaller mATX mobo goes
Orange indicates where HDD has to be removed
Green is the area of concern. Since the PCI slot shown would be where the PCIE slot would be, is there enough space for the remaining 3 slots below? I am beginning to doubt - if the mITX was originally mounted at top of case it would work. I could mod further but that means moving the standoffs etc

Just wondering if you could do a measure and see if the slots WOULD fit.. doesnt look like it now :(
