Ince Sacked

Look on the bright side, you've not got many decent players left so Souness won't have anyone to sell this time.

Edit: Forgot about Cruz, Bye Bye :D

He'll still find time to fall out with the rest of the team. Hearing Gary Johnson's name being mentioned at the minute. I like what he did at Yeovil and more recently at Bristol City, but seems like another risk. Curbishley is another name, as is Roberto Mancini. Can't say any of the names given so far fill me with hope.

Sad, but the jump from League 2 to the Premiership is huge.
Speaking of which, how many managers are there in the Premiership that have actually managed below the Championship/second tier?

Both Brown and Mownray landed their respective jobs while their teams were in the Championship, so from what I can tell its:

Pulis.
Redknapp.

EDIT: Ah, Megson (obviously) and Moyes. And O'Neill. And Kinnear. :o

Oh, Hodgson has managed a lower English team? I thought it was all foreign lots.

That's quite a list actually. From thinking there was barely anyone, it's the opposite. All that talk of the Prem never appointing lower league managers is a bit guff really, isn't it?

Ince should have been given longer. Probably until February. See if he could make any decent signings in the January window. If not then Blackburn still have time to turn any unfortunate results around and survive relegation. There are far worse teams in the league this season.

I really really really feel sorry for Blackburn and think they will be relegated with Souness in charge. He is a terrible manager and shouldn't even be managing non-league teams, never mind premiership clubs. Suppose you can still get shot before the end of the season.

I personally think Lawrie Sanchez may have been a good appointment.

He's far better than Souness!

Yip he's the best choice. I can't think of anyone else that could come in and do the job that's needed as well as he could.

Hodgson was only there for a season in 1982! Add Bruce to that list who managed in the Championship with several clubs.

Souness has a decent record at Blackburn, they won the league cup and achieved decent league finishes until his final season in charge.
