That doesn't make sense if theyre plotting to kill us, then killing him, especially if he has kids, will simply create 10 people who are plotting to kill us.

They actually do arrest a lot of people suspected of being Taliban, we actually have strict rules of engagement. You should watch some documentaries on Youtube, etc.

WMD's were never the reason we invaded Iraq, obviously it was sold to the public that way, it was mostly about regime change. At the time it was probably a good idea to not have Saddam Hussein in charge of Iraq given he actually had used chemical weapons in the past and was a brutal corrupt dictator, obviously leaving that power vacuum didn't turn out well and there should have been better planning for that, but I don't think it was a bad decision taken with the knowledge at the time.

So are you suggesting our drones should be targeting the children of known terrorists instead? That sounds rather inhumane

You are right.

It's a constant state of one upmanship and wanting the last word. Neither side will now swallow their pride and give the other "side" the final say. Anything happens they just bomb each other back rather than sitting down and getting to the route of the issue and trying to settle it.

We're getting on to 20 years now of tit for tat with no end in sight, common sense would suggest trying something else.

How far back do you want to go?

Islamic terrorists have been attacking Europe pretty much since they had the ability to reach it. The western world flies in the face of their twisted ideals.

How surprising. Must have been drunk and happened to mow down a load of people. Do we not know the drill yet? Time to round them up and get tough. Once again the country has failed its citizens.

Arent like 90% of these raids just for show? I swear i read somewhere that the vast majority are let go after whatever pointless mirage they have at their local police station to dazzle them with. I wouldn't put it past the Home Office to have a guideline that simply makes it appear like the Police are doing something, even if it's totally pointless in reality. Seems to be a trope with this government (indeed many governments) since it came in.
