That's with a third 290 idling plus a couple of pumps etc...
You'll be fine unless you attempt high benching clocks/voltage.
You'd be far far easier, opening a cs post, give them your order number and ask for full refund, this should take a few hours to process on Monday morning, then open a fresh order once refund has cleared
I say this as it could be a pain for them to swap out cards at different prices and add an item to the order.
Cracking price on this too, tempted to pick one up for my lan rig project.
Posted above in the thread, though can't comment on noise and heat in xfire?
Doh, how did I miss that bit. So I'm guessing 850 would be the minimum to be safe and ideally a bit more just to be sure?
Personally, I'd have a good quality 1KW PSU minimum to be on the safe side
Gibbo there was "no stock" and "the last 1000 units worldwide only to finish the production line on the 295X2 because it was going EOL" (I will find your exact post).
Now, they are at £600 and selling by the dozen. Seriously?
You are going to lose customers.
I assume the 850W can do crossfire 280x or 970SLI ?
Probly could, the sf unit in using is Matt's old 1000w one. Iirc he had it drawing 1200w plus without any bother. Its having an easy life now.
