Index enabled full system - Budget £2500 (max)

yeah i think you might be right there. I'm not going to wait forever when the elite is a good board.

in other news: got a 2080ti for £719. it's only the PNY blower but for the price i'm not going to complain.

Water block ! Loud, hot and run under boost/claimed speed. Alphacool blocks as dirt cheap and do the job, heck they even do AIO GPU for £160 odd

yeah i saw that, so i'm getting a Arctic Accelero Xtreme IV. saw a youtube that helped...

Why not get the "Aorus Pro Wifi" instead of the Elite and the Aorus wifi6 separately? is the wifi inferior on the "Pro wifi"?

Ah, pro WiFi is out in UK.. gigabyte UK wasn't to good at selling lower version WiFi boards here. Unless reseller goes to EU or direct to Taiwan for order

Hoping this changes with z490 boards. Guessing they think Aorus elite WiFi would eat into Aorus Pro non WiFi sales being priced roughly the same.
Pro is the better designed board as well, 6 layer PCB Vs 4 .

Z490 Aorus ITX is 10 layers

so i'm now looking at the MSI MEG X570 UNIFY. From a heat perspective, the 6 layer mobo, from a heat perspective, is nothing like some of those other MSIs. The VRM's are the same as the X570 ACE.

It can be had for £275 and it has wifi6, loads of features and seems to work well under load.

If you can get it from a good reseller as they deal with any RMA then money wise it's a good choice

Ahhh ok :) ...i'm still not sure what you mean about mobo's not normally repaired twice before swapping?

also, managed to get an HX750i for £109, based on the PSU tier list I thought it was a good bargain though it only has 7 years not 10 years warranty that the rm750x/i has. Why would that be?

I ordered the MEG X570 Unify in the end. It was the fact that it has good cooling, wifi6, loads of features and the price wasnt bad either at £275.

Which means all but my replacement gpu cooler "Arctic Accelero Xtreme IV" has been ordered. I saw a review of this being used and it seems good at £55. i dont really want to set up a custom loop.
