Indian Grand Prix 2013, New Delhi - Race 16/19

I will record the race but I've yet to watch qualifying or any of the practice sessions. Some of the guys at work have been taking calls from customers removing the HD pack as they only had it for F1 and they've stopped watching.

The world has ended!

Not surprised Tbh. I know someone who got sky for the f1 who is jacking it in soon as he can

In all seriousness, I wonder how many people are ending things like Sky HD due to the financial climate? A luxury they can no longer afford.

What a stinker this season has turned into :(

For me this has to be one of the worst/predictable seasons in a long time.
In 2011, Vettel won by a huge margin, but at least then, we were not 100% sure if Vettel could get the job done. He was still "learning".

In 2013, once Pirelli changed their tyres to suit RBR & Merc, I knew the title was finished. Every race from that point - Vettel has been favourite to win.

Eddie Jordan said, after Vettel's Monza win, that Vettel had won the title there. I said to myself, "No Eddie, Vettel won the title as far back as Canada".

And for those people who like their stats, Vettel has now won 5 races in a row. If he wins tomorrow, it'll be 6 in a row. 7 in a row is MSc's (modern era) record (Ascari got 9 wins in a row in the 50's).

For Vettel, it's all about attacking MSc's records.

...people struggle to accept Vet will be the second greatest f1 driver ever and with plenty of years left.

We'll have to wait till the end of next year, for that to happen, when he'll be on 5 titles (joint 2nd, with Fangio).

Still a way to go.

The financial climate is improving, F1 however is currently being dominated by a unpopular team with an unlimited budget and perhaps the single most disliked driver in the sports history. People giving up on it is no shock.

Have a look at the figures yourself?

Results for 3 months to September 30th.
and results for 3 months to June 30th

You'll most likely find that, if anything, people are keeping Sky and staying in and even upgrading in some situations. With ther acquisition of O2/BE domestic customers they exceeded 5 million Broadband customers for the first time making them the second biggest ISP after BT. Not bad for a company that only launched broadband around 6 years ago.

Youre confusing the entire F1 fanbase with a few members of this forum, totally different.

Unlimited budget? Dont recall seeing you in our finance office.

Van di guard got a 'speeding in the pitlane' fine of €200.

Seems a small fine compared to others who have had pitlane fines.
