Indian Grand Prix 2013, New Delhi - Race 16/19

the soft tyre has more grip and would also give you more confidence. The added pressure of the medium probably didnt help with the scrappyness

If webber gets on the front row with that I'll laugh at how uncompetitive this is. Hamilton using his old softs and didn't bother doing a time as they felt rubbish? Or seen Vettel's time and decided to only do a time on medium?

Vettel went completely off the track in his pole lap. Surely this is not aloud? All 4 wheels went past the whole kerb?

Whiting said they are only aloud to use the whole kerb?

In the race brief everyone including drivers & fia said it was allowed, so its allowed.

Alonso should have fairly good track position and Webber. Meh, in terms of going off the track, the corner they go wide on I don't really care about, that other corner where they go over the inside of the very gradual corner and effectively turn the section into a straight I don't agree with and for me the Red Bulls certainly went the most off the track there but meh, nothing can compete with that car currently.

Most disappointed with Mclaren this year as they had a competitive car last year that needed as much improving as anyone else, they were realistically the only car that could genuinely challenge Red Bull last year and could even have maybe beaten them with less team screw ups. Instead they threw away a competitive car and went to a new one. Mclaren as much as anyone has ruined this season with that decision.

The supposedly terrible tyres and early pitstops could actually make this race interesting if Vettel has to pit and ends up behind ALonso/Button and they hold him up enough. Though I think that will hurt Hamilton/Rosberg as well, but it could make the end interesting for the likes of Webber/Alonso.

The real thing to do is Hamilton/Rosberg to beat Vettel on the start, then run side by side at 50mph to save tyres and make themselves unpassable :p

Pole by almost an entire second, with less laps done and therefore more new sets of boots waiting for him during the race.

I don't think it'll be any surprise who wins this one.

Lol. Yeah.
My prediction to win this race was Vettel, 2 weeks ago.
It's all become far too predictable and I can't help feel that the drivers are now feeling the same way. Basically - hopeless.

What really gets me is when Vettel opens up a 1.5-2s gap, per lap, in consecutive laps. Thats the sort of thing which hadnt been seen for a very long time.

The worrying thing is that I actually think that next year will be a continuation of what we are seeing right now. Our only hope is that Renault produce an unreliable engine which blows up a lot.

This would be hilarious.
If they did this and Vettel was right behind them, you can imagine him fuming over the radio.

"Tell Charlie that this is not allowed! Tell the Stewards!" :D
