Indiana Jones and the Great Circle (2024)

Anyone tried the DLSS4 dll file and forcing Preset J in this yet?

I have, and it makes zero discernible difference to me. Using DLSS Tweaks and the console to confirm Preset J is running. My test is the Geza level looking at the telegraph pole wires. They look like absolute **** no matter what settings or DLSS files are used and the game still looks very soft and NPC faces are still terrible.

I think it varies from game to game with differences. A quick A-B spot the difference between dll files in the Vatican area, all I noticed was the chain link fences being a bit sharper.

Finished it last night as well. I wasn't the biggest fan of the combat, though I can totally see what they were going for - if you'd been able to smash your way through legions of troops it wouldn't have felt like an Indiana Jones game.

Nice to play a game that didn't out-stay its welcome, and though it had a sprinkling of fetch / side quest activity they were reasonable interesting in their own right and in the main felt balanced in terms of getting small upgrades etc. I didn't finish all the content, not sure if I would extend gamepass to do it, but what I did try I enjoyed.

Weirdly I wouldn't say that I loved it, but I can't think of a recent release I've enjoyed more or thought was better. Not sure if I'm just getting older and grumpier.

Unfortunately this just crashes constantly on my system. I can play for up to 30 mins and then will just crash to desktop and needs a reboot. Sometimes it can be every couple of mins. From looking at various forums its a common thing. Hope they patch it, as its a cracking game when it works!

Finished it, total play time 36 hours, didn't do all the side missions but seems like most of them. Mostly enjoyable.

The bad: Disappointing finale though. A few minor negatives for me were the uncanny valley walking from NPCs, the side kick flipping between stating the obvious (watch out Nazi!) to being unhelpful (little help with this puzzle would be nice), sometimes Indy would have grey hair and not look right at all, dialogue sometimes didn't complete because I kept diving underwater so they restarted the same conversation about 10 times :) I honestly feels like they make the trailer (and hype) first then make the game to hit the trailer beats. Enemy NPC are pretty dumb, stealth is pretty easy, maybe I'm really good :)

Doesn't sound like it, but enjoyable game :)

No crashes with me. Ran well, 100-144 fps if I recall with DLSS, I forget the exact settings. Used game pass, now that's done I'm unsubscribing again.

Have you got an Intel 13th or 14th gen CPU?

No, running a 5800x3d and 3080ti.

I've tried lots of things and can't get it stable. Other games are fine so doubt it's hardware related
